Budget

Invitation Count

Most couples I work with reserve around £600 for their Save the Dates and invitations. Typically, this budget would allow you to include some luxurious finishing touches and a bespoke service like Venue Illustration, or Calligraphy Addressing. If you're looking for specialised printing methods, lots of cards and embellishments; expect to reserve at least £1,000. Day Stationery will cost around £700 for all your essential pieces and bespoke design. Adding specialised printing methods or over-sized signage installations would require reserving between £1,000 - £1,500.

This will be different from your guest count! Remember, each invitation will be sent to a household, as opposed to each individual guest. Naming the intended guests clearly on the envelope will avoid any confusion. Most people find this number is just over half of their total guest count.

Printing Options

Direct or Postal RSVP?

There are lots of different ways your guests can reply to your invitation. A Direct RSVP will feature a wedding website or email address for people to reply directly online. A Postal RSVP is a card for your guests to fill out and post back to you. Traditionally, you should include a pre-addressed envelope for them to use, so this option will be more expensive but adds an element of luxury to your suite.

All quotes will be put together using standard full-colour digital printing. However, if you're looking for something more luxurious; Hot Foil is the process of pressing a metallic or matte foil into the paper to create a high-shine or sheer impression. Debossing/Embossing presses a design into the paper 'blindly', leaving a subtle, but crisp imprint. White Ink printing is similar to standard printing, except an opaque white ink can be used on dark or mid-colour card for a modern look.

Day Stationery

Details, Itinerary & Menu Cards

If you're planning some events before/after your wedding date, then it's handy to include an itinerary card for guests to keep. Menu cards are useful if you require guests to pre-select their meals. This information can also be displayed easily on a wedding website, but if you'd like to add some extra layers to your suite; these additional cards can make it feel really special.

The essential day stationery items I always suggest are a welcome sign, order-of-the-day cards/signage, a table plan, menus, place cards and table numbers. These are essential for keeping your guests on time for photo opportunities. various locations throughout the day and for being seated at the correct table.
I also offer a large range of acrylic and linen signage options, personalised accessories and gifts. Just let me know what you're looking for, and the chances are; I can make it!
