Tom & Becca's 'Moody-but-Cheerful' December Wedding

Weddings are usually associated with soft pastel colours and lots of white or ivory tones, but what happens when a couple decides to go the opposite route and embrace a darker, moody atmosphere? Well, that's exactly what Tom and Becca did for their wedding, and the result was absolutely stunning. Starting off with their Save the Dates, I created the first glimpse into their big day.

With modern, bold typography teamed with deep red floral watercolour accents; these Save the Dates and Invitations definitely got guests excited about the event ahead.

Becca really wanted to create some special pieces for her wedding party, so together we designed custom gift boxes and bags for her guests of honour.

With a colour scheme of blush pink, burgundy, and black, punctuated by pops of hot pink, this wedding was a sight to behold. From the invitations to the table settings, everything was carefully curated to fit the aesthetic that the couple wanted to achieve.

Tom and Becca are a super creative couple, and their personalities shone through in every aspect of the wedding. Becca, in particular, took a big hand in creating the wedding stationery, working closely with me to create personalised menus with tassels, acrylic table name signs, a show-stopping table plan banner and large signage adorned with fresh flowers provided by The Raven Rose.

The wedding venue was a perfect match for the couple's vision with its cosy and intimate atmosphere. It was really important to the couple to have an interactive experience for their guests with lots of games and points of interest. Becca even painted her very own custom beer pong table for everyone to enjoy!

When it was time for dinner, the guests were ushered into the dining area, where they found their personalised menus with tassels waiting for them at their tables.

As the night wore on, the guests danced and celebrated under the twinkling lights, revelling in the 'Welcome Home' atmosphere that Tom and Becca had created. It was a wedding that was as unique and quirky as the couple themselves, and it will be remembered fondly by all who attended.
